A dream is a wish your heart makes when you’re fast asleep!

My heart has dreamt so much of beaches & warm tropical breezes that I have found myself here, daily enjoying the beautiful beaches of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

As with all things in life, living your dream is possible if you truly believe.

Dream. Believe. Trust in yourself & you too can find yourself living right in the middle of what once was a dream…YOUR dream!

Beach Bunny Fun in the Sun

Take a walk along the sandy shores of the Sea of Cortez in the Baja California state of Mexico & you will find yourself filled with a refreshing, peaceful energy that calms and caresses you.

The swimming beaches & bays are sometimes hard to get to, but well worth the effort when you do find them!

Take a dip in the freshness of the sea on a hot and balmy tropical afternoon & immediately feel rejuvenated & alive!

 

 

 

This is the way to spend a lazy day….swimming, strolling the beach, collecting colorful rocks & shells that have found their way onto the shore.

Beach bunnies everywhere enjoy spending a lot of time on the beaches of the world…I am just one of those types.

On the Beach

Here I am….back on the beach and loving every minute of it.

For these types of days,  I think the pictures say it all!

This  is a sample one of the many  beautiful, practically endless beaches you can find when you explore the coastline along the Pacific Ocean. 

This particular beach is just off the main road that takes you from Cabo San Lucas to the towns of Cerritos & Todo Santos.

 

 

It’s well worth the drive to get out and explore the miles of coastline of the southern tip of the Baja.

Endless deserted, white sandy beaches are waiting to be explored.  Those who take the time to venture out of the downtown areas of the Baja will not be disappointed!

Beaches upon beaches and lots of magical moments are yours to find…spectacular and peaceful all at once along these breathtaking sandy shores.

Sandy Shores Coming Up

I can hardly wait!!  In just a few short days I will be hopping on a plane & heading south to the beach!  I am counting the days… hours, even…until I find myself  once again strolling barefoot along sandy shores!

Pretty soon, I will be basking in the tropical sights & sounds of a beach paradise….ahhh yes!

 

 

 

This is the only way to live! 

I simply cannot imagine a life without always having not so distant plans of giving into my urge to be in a beautiful tropical destination. 

It’s what keeps the winter chills away…beats the blahs and just simply overall puts a smile on my face!!

Cabo San Lucas

Here I am plotting my next tropical escape & counting the days until it becomes a reality!

I love to hit the beach while it’s cold & damp in most parts of the world that (enjoy) winter!

This will be me again in a few short days & not a moment too soon!  The beaches are calling  me & their voice has become too loud for me to ignore!

Why not do the same?  Couldn’t you just see yourself here?  Isn’t this what winter should look like everywhere?

Now if you’re into the snow & its’ related activities, by all means….enjoy!

Not me, however, you will pretty much always find me either on a beach…or planning my next escape to a beach!

These particular photos are all taken in Cabo San Lucas in the Baja California state of Mexico.  It’s a great place to hang for a couple of weeks, or even for the whole winter if you can get away. 

In Cabo San Lucas, you will find not only spectacular authentic Mexican hospitality but every convenience & luxury of home! 

Plenty of opportunity here to find both peace & serenity or fun & excitement…whatever it is your heart desires!

Add to that miles of breathtaking scenery & gorgeous sunsets almost every night.

Reach the Beach

Reach the beach from wherever you are! Just relax, sit back, imagine

yourself sitting on the warm sand…

No matter how many times I find myself  in this type of destination, each time

I get to a beach I am in awe of the wonder & beauty of  my surroundings.

Miles of sandy footprints & crashing waves to fill the day & to top it all off…

I love to sit & watch the sun sink slowly into the horizon as another glorious

day in paradise comes to a close.  The only thing that makes the end of another 

wonderful day like this okay in any way is that there is always an equally spectacular

‘manana’ just waiting to unfold.

Escape to Mexico

My first winter beach escape this year came in the form of Mexico, a destination

 very dear to my heart.  Soaking up the sun, breathing in the tropical sights & smells,

walking barefoot in the sand….what a way to reenergize & chase away the winter blues!

My escape to Mexico was just what I needed to break up the monotony

of the snow and rain, so common at this time of the year.

Sitting under a palapa on the beach with not a care in the world….

knowing that for the time being, this was all I had to do each day…

this is what my ultimate escape to Mexico was for me!  You should try it!

Beach Escape Needed!

This is a prime example of why it is I dream of the perfect beach escape!!

Although the snow is white and fluffy and lovely as it falls softly making everything

SEEM like a winter wonderland….

It just makes me long for the tropical beaches, the palm trees…ones that are NOT

covered in snow.  

 

So I sit and dream & wait for the chance to make my beach escape happen for me!!

Beach Dreams

Here I am in the midst of a winter wonderland & it seems all I can do is dream of

hot, sunny, tropical beaches!    

The kind of places where there is not a care in the world…all you need do is lay in

the sand, watch the occasional fluffy cloud roll by overhead & ponder what next

to explore in your tropical paradise.

How many beach dreams have you had lately?  I know for me, it is just a

matter of time before my dreams of frolicking on a sandy beach are a reality!!

Ocean Breezes

November days. When the days are short and the nights are long

and all we can do is visualize ourselves in a hot, tropical country…
